Phase 3 reopening

Hours

Monday - Thursday: 7:45 am - 7:00 pm

Friday:  7:45 am - 4:30 pm

Saturday - Sunday: Closed

Access

Access to the Bolton Library will be restricted to current LSUA faculty, staff, and students. Proof of affiliation, such as an LSUA ID card or class schedule may be required for entry. All users are required to use face masks. 

Social Distancing Measures

In public areas, including study rooms, the computer lab and at tables, social distancing protocols will be followed. These guidelines are specified by signage in the building.

Library services

The library can accommodate users who prefer not to enter the building. For example, a library staff member can meet users outside the building to check out or return library materials. If you have any questions, email Martha Dauzat at mdauzat@lsua.edu.

Room Reservations

Seven rooms have been made available for students to reserve. Each room reservation can include a laptop with webcam and microphone. Reservations can be made here: https://lsua.libcal.com/reserve/testing

Reserved room tables and laptops are disinfected after each use.  

Please stop by the front desk when arriving at the library to pick up your reserved laptop.

Interlibrary Loan 

Interlibrary loan services have resumed. Students are strongly encouraged to consult with the reference library before initiating a request. More information is available on the Library Services ILL page.

University Archives

University Archives & Central Louisiana Collections is closed to all visitors outside the LSUA campus community. Researchers are encouraged to contact the Archivist, Michelle Riggs Waller at mriggs@lsua.edu

All archival reference will be conducted via email.
