Phase 2 reopening


Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Friday - Sunday:  Closed


Access to the Bolton Library will be restricted to current LSUA faculty, staff, and students. Proof of affiliation, such as an LSUA ID card or class schedule may be required for entry. Users will be required to check in at the circulation desk and then directed to the appropriate area of the library. Users are strongly encouraged to use face masks. 

Social Distancing Measures

Every other computer on the first floor will be disabled by facing down the monitors. At tables, every other chair will be turned away and social distancing signs will be posted. Study groups up to three are allowed. Individuals or groups may be asked to study in a specific area of the library in order to promote social distancing. The second floor will be closed during phase 2.

Library services

Due dates for library materials have been extended until Friday August 28. Users who prefer not to enter the library building may return materials in the blue book return receptacle adjacent to the library parking lot. If you have any questions, email Martha Dauzat at

Testing Room Reservations

Five rooms have been made available for students to take online exams. Each room reservation includes a laptop with webcam and microphone. Reservations can be made here:

Only one student at a time may use a testing room. Testing room tables and laptops are disinfected after each use.  

Please stop by the front desk when arriving at the library to pick up your reserved laptop.
